I recently purchased your T3 tactical triage rescue tool. Today I was driving down the freeway and witnessed a truck flip over and land on its roof. I pulled over and immediately grabbed the T3. As I was running up to the truck with others that pulled over we could hear people screaming inside the truck. We ripped the door open and the first thing that we could see was a woman wrapped in the seatbelt screaming and crying. I am a corrections officer so this wasn't my first time dealing with an emergency situation but I cannot say the same for the others with me. Two men tried to pull the woman free but she was stuck and the two men were beginning to panic. I stepped up grabbed the seat belt and cut through it like tissue paper. All the people that were trying to help all pause at the ease that I cut the seat belt. To make this long story short we pulled the people from the vehicle and I have never felt so confident in a product. What you have created is amazing. I have numerous trainings under my belt when it comes to emergency and rescue situations and I've never had a tool that made me feel calmer in a heightened situation because I have it. I thank whoever developed this product.

Blade Closing Instructions:

With the knife edge facing you, there are two pieces of flat steel in the middle of the knife. One goes all the way from the top to the bottom of the handle and the other one on the right is bent towards the right. That bent piece is the liner lock. You use your right thumb to push the right piece (liner lock) towards the straight piece (i.e. push the right piece to the left) and at the same time you carefully close the knife blade (watch your thumb!). The same type of lock exists for the hook seat belt cutting blade on the back of the knife. You use your thumb to push in the piece of flat steel towards the center of the handle and close the hook blade.   Check out our blade closing video by hitting the VIDEO tab above.
Window Punch Instructions:
Hold the window punch against the window and push with moderate force. The steel point will shoot out, shatter the glass and then retract automatically. Caution: This window punch really works! Always wear the proper protective equipment when practicing.

  1. I trust my life with this device

Posted by Nick Flamand on 25th May 2014

The knife cuts things instantly. It's super sharp and really does the trick with minimal effort. The seat belt cutter cuts anything flat...I mean anything! I took a test at the cardboard box Amazon sent with this and it cut it like a knife in butter. And last but not least the window spring loaded breaker. I tested this on a small fish tank I used to have, the glass is about twice as thick as a cars window and with just a little bit of a push into the glass the whole thing shattered perfectly. So I keep this in my car at all times. If I was in an accident or I every see anyone else in an accident, this is the ONLY tool I would trust. High quality and great performance results!

  2. Perfect

Posted by Nave Namlek on 25th May 2014

I used this for the first time the other day on a music video set as part of the art department crew. This thing is awesome. The seat belt cutter slides through fabric or sash like tissue paper. The knife works perfectly, sturdy with a few different edge patterns to slice according to circumstance. The light isn't a full torch, but it stills works well enough for seeing the ground in the dark. I could hook it to my belt and see where I was going or what I was working on without even holding it. The bonus that its specifically made for emergencies lets me feel secure while its on me, knowing I could punch through glass or cut through a seatbelt if necessary. Great purchase, had multiple and varied uses for it throughout a single work day.

  3. Nice multi purpose knife that actually works

Posted by Sean on 25th May 2014

This is a cool looking knife with multiple features. I did some research and located a couple video reviews of the knife on youtube. One video tests all the functions of the knife and they all seem to work. The glass breaker actually shatters a car window and the seatbelt cutter cuts through a seatbelt like butter. The light on the knife is not overly bright but it is a led and is about the equivlant of a keychain led light. The knife part is nice but could use a good sharpening. The knife comes with a holder to put the knife into and put it on your belt. I like the knife so much, I purchased one for my dad as a gift. It would be a nice knife to leave in your center console or in a door compartment.

  4. A well designed and built tool for auto emengencies and rescues

Posted by R.Bates MA on 25th May 2014

The T3 is just what you need for an Auto Rescue tool. While it was designed for EMT's it works perfectly well for the rest of us. I used nylon ties through the belt loop to mount it in an easily reachable location on my driver's side door. This allows me to remove the tool quickly in an emergency, or to clip it onto my belt with the belt clip. It's always available should I need it. It's extremely well made and works easily and quickly once you've practiced a couple of times. I recommend the T3 for anyone who needs an auto emergency tool.

  5. Great Tool

This is our second time to order the T3. It has become standard issue for all of our employees. It is easy to use and we have had no issues or complaints since we began using this tool.

  7. Good knive

Posted by Unknown on 27th Nov 2013

As a school bus driver and volunteer firefighter the seatbelt cutter is what interested me the most. I cut a old seatbelt and was very impressed with it.

  8. Very well designed, Hope Many useful things in one.

A great tool to have for emergencies. Seems very easy to use. Great quality.

  9. Great Tool Destroyed it on a car accident

Posted by Unknown on 24th Oct 2013

Great tool used it all of the time. Was on a bad rollover in the dead of winter. Used the hook to cut out the glass of the drivers door before the rescue arrived. Wrecked the blades saved the driver. (glass wouldn't pop due to the stress load)

  10. Excellent must have tool

Posted by Robert L. on 10th Sep 2013

Well made handy tool no one should be without. It's not just or the medical field either. Great for personal use and for professional truck drivers like myself. Easy to use, durable and always at the ready with the included carrying case.
