I recently purchased your T3 tactical triage rescue tool. Today I was driving down the freeway and witnessed a truck flip over and land on its roof. I pulled over and immediately grabbed the T3. As I was running up to the truck with others that pulled over we could hear people screaming inside the truck. We ripped the door open and the first thing that we could see was a woman wrapped in the seatbelt screaming and crying. I am a corrections officer so this wasn't my first time dealing with an emergency situation but I cannot say the same for the others with me. Two men tried to pull the woman free but she was stuck and the two men were beginning to panic. I stepped up grabbed the seat belt and cut through it like tissue paper. All the people that were trying to help all pause at the ease that I cut the seat belt. To make this long story short we pulled the people from the vehicle and I have never felt so confident in a product. What you have created is amazing. I have numerous trainings under my belt when it comes to emergency and rescue situations and I've never had a tool that made me feel calmer in a heightened situation because I have it. I thank whoever developed this product.

Blade Closing Instructions:

With the knife edge facing you, there are two pieces of flat steel in the middle of the knife. One goes all the way from the top to the bottom of the handle and the other one on the right is bent towards the right. That bent piece is the liner lock. You use your right thumb to push the right piece (liner lock) towards the straight piece (i.e. push the right piece to the left) and at the same time you carefully close the knife blade (watch your thumb!). The same type of lock exists for the hook seat belt cutting blade on the back of the knife. You use your thumb to push in the piece of flat steel towards the center of the handle and close the hook blade.   Check out our blade closing video by hitting the VIDEO tab above.

Window Punch Instructions:

Hold the window punch against the window and push with moderate force. The steel point will shoot out, shatter the glass and then retract automatically. Caution: This window punch really works! Always wear the proper protective equipment when practicing.

  2. Best Medic Knife I have So Far

Posted by Stu on 26th Jun 2014

The seatbelt cutter work great on clothes. The flashlight is great for pupil assessment. The knife is sharp. Can't ask for a better knife. Just need to use the window punch.

  3. Excellent

    Posted by Deuce1185 on 20th Jun 2014

I work on an ambulance and this tool is used on nearly every shift. Be careful when using the spring loaded window punch. It works a lot better than you expect it to. Scared the hell out of me the first time because I expected more resistance. I ended up putting my entire hand through a patient's car window. The hooked blade works great for a quick strip n' flip as well. If you know someone who is in EMS, this is the PERFECT gift. It also comes with a sturdy case that loops onto your belt.

  4. Great Fathers Day Gift!

Posted by A. Drewes "Closet of Free Samples" - New Orleans on 25th May 2014

I'm not a huge knife fan, but my husband is. It's not that I don't like them, I just can't ever close them right and I'm afraid I'll chop off my finger. Yet my husband can close them effortlessly. The knife we received is very high quality, functions great and looks cool. The blade is VERY sharp so please be careful when handling it. The handle is easy to hold and grip. I love that the knife also comes with a carrying pouch for ease and convenience. Of course I still have trouble closing the blade on this knife even though they have instructions. As I said, I'm always worried I'll loose a finger or something so I just leave it alone. So please don't hold this against the company, it's my own personal problem with that one. What I like about the knife other than how cool and sharp it is not to mention the mini light. Plus it was designed by a paramedic and field tested in the EMS setting.

Needless to say I love the knife. Stainless steal serrated blade, stainless steel seatbelt cutter, LED Light, and a spring loaded steel tip window punch - everything a cool knife needs with all the important safety functions. This makes for a great Father's Day gift as well as any holiday gift in general. If you don't know what to get that someone special, consider this tactical triage & auto rescue tool, you can't go wrong!

  6. Great gadget gift/emergency tool

Posted by Deshleman "Dave" - CA on 25th May 2014

This is the Perfect gift for the guy that already has all kinds of neat gadgets and you don't know what to get him. Designed by an EMS, and made in America I believe. Got this for my girlfriends dad and he loved it.

    I would recommend this for:
    A. Anyone who drives a car
    B. law enforcement/EMS
    C. Anyone who likes knives/multipurpose gadgets/tools

  7. Cool gadget

Posted by chartzog - Riverview, Florida on 25th May 2014

Pretty cool tool. My husband thought we needed one for each car, so we both have them. Hope it works when and if I need it to. Haven't had the opportunity to use it... thank God!

  8. LEAVE this in your vehicle

Posted by customer on 25th May 2014

Lifesaving device, excellent for the car truck or atv. Better to have it and not need it, than the other way-round. Very satisfied.

  9. Awesome!

Posted by LRiso on 25th May 2014

I bought this tool as a gift for someone who is a fireman. They love this tool! It is really an all in one tool for someone who is involved in rescue acts. Everything on the tool worked very nicely.
